Gealach Mor's Milloy (named after the Buffalo Bills' hard hitting defensive safety, Lawyer Milloy) is yet another of the "Buffalo" litter which has lived up to his name so far.
An incredibly hard working dog, he never fails to give 100% and can always be relied upon when the going gets tough.
A fairly quiet dog in the yard, he does like to be close to you - and is not always too welcoming if any of the others want to gather round. However, some of the best photographs of Milloy are when he is curled up asleep in amongst a pile of his littermates.
2004 - 2005 season Milloy logged the most miles of all our dogs during our winter in the US - a testament to his abilities and the fact that he is one of those invisible dogs. He doesn't need correction, coertion or cajoling, he just gets on with his job.
Another name penned onto the race sheet without thinking.
2005 - 2006 season Pleased to say that nothing has changed with Milloy's attitude. He has had a couple of runs at lead but doesn't seem 100% happy up there. He is however, quick enough to step over the gangline into the turn when at point/swing if the leaders are being indecisive.
2006 - 2007 season There's a real danger of taking this dog for granted. He has matured into a fine young male and can be relied upon to react in exactly the predicted manner in any given situation. He is the engine room on our race team.
2007 - 2009 seasons For a variety of reasons, some health related, both mine and various dogs, a trip to Alaska, extensive vehicle troubles and race cancellations, we only actually managed to get to one race in the last 2 seasons. Training was going well, and Milloy was continuing to perform as well as ever in the team.
It's going to be a big jump from what we've been doing these last 4 years to what we'll be aiming for next season.
